The selection process has started!
The selection process for the next Camille Awards edition has started! The Camille Awards are a set of awards given to extraordinary film music composers by their peers since 2014.
ECSA is currently waiting for submissions of outstanding works nominated by ECSA member organisations that are part of the Film and Audio-visual Music (FFACE) Committee until 30th June. Scores that can be nominated need to be originally written for a movie or series that has premiered in Europe from 1st January 2019 to 31st December 2019.
The Camille Awards honour composers of original music for audio-visual artworks in the following categories: “Best Orchestral Score”, “Best Electro-Acoustic Score” and “Best Original Music for a Series”. After the nomination process, appointed delegates of FFACE member organisations will then be divided into two Screening Groups who are in charge of the pre-selection.
The pre-selected pieces will then be presented to the International Jury.
Previous Camille Awards winners include Ola Flottum for “Thelma” (Electro-accoustic), Victor Reyes for “The Night Manager” (Original Music for a Series), Gary Yershon for “Mr. Turner” (Orchestral) and many more.
