The Jury of The Camille Awards
The international jury of the Camille Awards 2022 consisted of international film music composers.

Hailed by the international press, Florencia Di Concilio is one of the most prolific and versatile artists of the new generation of music composers, whether classical, film or electronic.
Florencia Di Concilio composed the original score to Les Années Super 8, an intimate tale by Annie Ernaux directed by her son David, and Les Cinq Diables, by Léa Mysius, with Adèle Exarchopoulos and Daphné Patakia, both selected for Cannes’ 2022 Directors’ Fortnight. In 2021 and the beginning of 2022, Florencia also created the original music of When Strangers Come to Town by Tanaz Eshaghian, No Hay Camino by Heddy Honigmann, La Scala by Bruno Chiche, with Yvan Attal, Pierre Arditi, and Miou-Miou, and De Grandes Espérances, a political thriller by Sylvain Desclous with Rebecca Marder and Benjamin Lavernhe. Florencia Di Concilio is currently working on the original score to Tous pour Une, the long-awaited new feature film by Houda Benyamina.
Previously, Florencia wrote the original music for Dark Blood, a posthumous film by River Phoenix, selected in the official selection of the Berlinale, Ava by Léa Mysius, prix SACD de la Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes Film Festival, Just Kids by Christophe Blanc, with Kacey Mottet-Klein, from the original Netflix US Trial 4 series, Influence by Richard Poplak and D. Nielle, official selection at the Sundance Festival, or even Calamity: a childhood by Martha Jane Cannary, by Rémi Chayé, Cristal du Festival d’Annecy, for which she was nominated for the 2021 Lumières Awards, and won the prize for best music at the Bucheon Festival in South Korea, as well as the very first Michel Legrand Prize.
Florencia has also just recorded an album of original compositions for the German label Clouds Hill, and has composed a large-scale symphonic and choral score, commissioned by the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, the world premiere of which took place in April 2022.
The first concerto for piano and orchestra by Florencia Di Concilio, commissioned and awarded in the USA, was hailed by critics who described its premiere as “a memorable evening, where the extraordinary talent of Florencia Di Concilio deserved the full recognition and ovation of her hearing” (El Pais). Her Three Etudes for Piano, awarded at NYC, have also received praise from the press, which describes them as “a pleasure to listen to” (New York Classical Review).
The Miami Symphony Orchestra, of which Florencia is Composer in Residence, awards its second concerto for piano and orchestra in its Grand Season Opening, at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Composer Tuomas Kantelinen works in the wonderful world of film, TV, Opera and Ballet.He has scored music for almost 100 feature films, including Stephen Fung’s The Adventurers, Timo Vuorensola’s The Ark, Renny Harlin’s The Legend of Hercules and Mindhunters, Sergei Bodrov’s Oscar nominated Genghis Khan epic Mongol, Klaus Haro’s awarded Mother of Mine, as well as Sweden’s biggest production, Peter Flinth’s Crusades trilogy and TV mini series Arn – The Knight Templar. He is known for his ability to adjust his musical skill to any culture and film territory.
When not recording a major motion picture at Air Studios in London – he might be found in the busy streets of Mumbai scoring an Indian epic. His knowledge of Hollywood film scoring techniques, electronic programming, classical Western Concert music styles and East Asian music cultures makes it easy for him to travel between Europe, US, China, India and beyond.

Three time Emmy-nominated Composer, Miriam Cutler has an extensive background in scoring for independent film & TV projects, as well as two circuses. Her passion for documentaries has led to a focus in non-fiction award-winning and festival favorites. She wrote the scores for RBG (CNN) and Dark Money (PBS) which both premiered at Sundance 2017 and Love, Gilda (CNN) which premiered at Tribeca 2018. All three films had theatrical releases with RBG being one of the highest earning documentaries ever. RBG was nominated for an Oscar and four 2019 Primetime Emmys (1 for score), winning 1 Emmy. Love, Gilda was nominated for two Primetime Emmys (one for score) . Other highlights include BAFTA nominated Lost In La Mancha, Emmy winners One Last Hug, Vito, Ghosts of Abu Ghraib, Desert of Forbidden Art (score also nominated); Oscar-nominated shorts Poster Girl and Kings Point; Emmy nominated Ethel, Thin, and Pandemic: Facing Aids. Sundance Special Doc Jury Prize winners American Promise and License To Kill.
One of her most recent 2019 projects, Flannery, a biography of the great American writer, Flannery O’Connor, has been awarded the inaugural Library of Congress Lavine/Ken Burns Prize for Film. Just complete Dilemma of Desire will premier at SxSW as part of the Documentary Spotlight.
Miriam is a member of the Documentary Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and currently serves on the Branch Executive Committee. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Music Branch of the TV Academy. As part of American Film Showcase, Miriam represents Documentary Film abroad for the US State Department Program in collaboration with USC School of Cinema. She has also been Composer in Residence at Columbia College of the Arts, taught a semester at California Institute of the Arts, and overseas at the Hollywood Music Workshop in Vienna. She’s presented workshops at USC, UCLA, Chapman College, Berklee College of Music and internationally in Iceland, Borneo, Georgia, Austria, Spain, Germany.
Miriam co-Produced as well as scored Dark Money (PBS) and One Lucky Elephant (OWN). She has served as Lab Advisor for the Sundance Institute Documentary Composers Lab since it began in 2003, as well as on documentary juries for the Sundance Film Festival, Independent Spirit Awards, International Documentary Association Awards, and American Film Institute’s Film Festival Awards. She is a co-founder of The Alliance For Women Film Composers, and has been a long-time Society of Composers and Lyricists Board member. She has also co-produced two Grammy-nominated live jazz albums on PolyGram/Verve for Joe Williams, and albums for Nina Simone, Shirley Horn, and Marlena Shaw as well as independently released albums of her own songs and soundtracks. Miriam Cutler recently released a compilation album from 18 of her film scores, available from Movie Score.

Identified as a renovator of neo-classicism, Victor Reyes is known for his film music, primarily for his Emmy award-winner score ‘The Night Manager’, or his IFCMA award-winners scores ‘Buried’ and ‘Grand Piano’.
With classical background, he finished his studies at Madrid Opera School of Music, developing during the 90’s a dynamic career as arranger for national and international artists as Julio Iglesias, Plácido Domingo, Ricky Martin or Montserrat Caballé. It is during this period in which Victor began working in film music, composing the score for notorious films in Spain as ‘As A Lightning’ (Miguel Hermos, 1996) or ‘Lisbon’ (Miguel Hernández, 1999), being unanimously recognized by critics as a talented and versatile composer.
Dedicating himself exclusively to composition since 2000, he wrote the score for several international productions, as ‘One Of The Holliwood Ten’ (Karl Francis, 2001) ‘All Stewardess Goes To Heaven’ (Daniel Burman, 2002), multiple Academy of Spain award-winner ‘La ciudad sin límites’ (Antonio Hernández, 2003), or ‘Turning Tide’ (Christophe Offenstein, 2013). In 2007 he began working with acclaimed director Rodrigo Cortés, composing the score for his first film ‘The Contestant’, following in 2010 with groundbreaking film ‘Buried’, and finally in 2012 with new classic ‘Red Ligths’.
In 2016, he obtained the Emmy award in the category of Best Composer for his work on ‘The Night Manager’, groundbreaking BBC’s production based of John Le Carré’s novel. To this day, Victor has composed the score for more tan 50 films and TV Series, obtaining numerous acknowledgments and awards.
